Watch Dog

Terms of Use

Effective August 12, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Watch Dog app, operated by Long Hall ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA).

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Watch Dog on devices you own or control, for your own record-keeping.

Acceptable use

The log is a convenience, not a legal authority

Watch Dog helps you record and total supervised-driving hours and produces a printable log. Requirements vary by state and change over time, and location measurement can be affected by GPS conditions. You are responsible for verifying your totals and your state's current requirements with the relevant licensing authority before submitting anything. We don't guarantee that a generated log will be accepted by any agency.

Purchases

The ad-free upgrade is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that measurements will be perfectly accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Long Hall will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any licensing decision made in reliance on a generated log.

Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the effective date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
